Tonight Eurovision: Europe Shine a Light comes live from the Hilversum, bringing Europe together for 2 hours from 21:00 CEST.
Eurovision: Europe Shine a Light takes place this evening in Hilversum, the Netherlands. The two hour show will bring together the 41 acts that were due to compete in Eurovision 2020, former acts and winners plus the public in tribute of the Eurovision Song Contest.
This evenings show is non-competitive and will feature a number of group and individual performances. The highlights of this evening include the 2020 artists performing “Love Shine a Light” (United Kingdom 1997 winner) from their homes, while fans come together to perform “What’s Another Year” (Ireland 1980 winner).
The hosts this evening are Chantal Janzen, Jan Smit and Edsilia Rombley who had all been due to host the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest.
Performances
There will be a variety of performances throughout the show, including by past winners of both their songs and new releases. Netta and Duncan will be performing brand new single, while Michael Schulte and Ilse DeLange re-imagine Germany’s 1982 winner.

Europe Shine a Landmark
Across the 41 countries that were due to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest landmarks will be illuminated for the show. ‘Europe Shine a Landmark’ will feature the following landmarks:
- Belgium – Atomium
- Cyprus – Presidential Palace
- France – Eiffel Tower
- Italy – Verona Arena
- Greece – The Acropolis
- Lithuania – Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre
Additional performances and appearances are expected through the show. With Graham Norton and NikkieTutorials also appearing during the show.
