Ilse DeLange, Kate Hall and Nico Santos have been confirmed by ProSieben as competing in tomorrows Free European Song Contest.
The representatives of the Netherlands, Denmark and Spain in the Free European Song Contest have now been revealed. Ilse DeLange who finished second for the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 as part of the Common Linnets will be representing the Netherlands in Cologne.
Denmark’s entrant is Kate Hall who was born in the United Kingdom, but grew up in Denmark. She last released a single in Germany in 2009 and will be performing ‘Reset’. While Spain are represented by Nico Santos who grew up in the country as a child.
How Will The Free European Song Contest work?
Conchita, winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 and Steven Gätjen will be hosting the Free European Song Contest live from Cologne, Germany on May 16. The competition which is being organised by German broadcaster ProSieben is a replacement to the cancelled Eurovision Song Contest which was due to be held on the same day.

Viewers in Austria, Germany and Switzerland will be able to send SMS or call to vote for their favourites as part of the Free European Song Contest on May 16.
From the countries of all of the other participants in the contest, juries will be voting to help select the winner of the Free European Song Contest. Each country will be awarding points using the method of the Eurovision Song Contest 1 to 7 points, 8, 10 and 12 points.
