The Swedish jury for Eurojury 2020 is formed of eight members, consisting of Clara Henry, Lleucu Young, Sylvia Vrethammar, Dotter, Erik Dahlqvist, Anna Bergendahl, Stina Stjernkvist and Erik Gabriel.
Each voting nation is represented by a jury consisting of past Eurovision, Junior Eurovision, national final participants and special guests. Each juror is asked to form a ranking of their favourite competing songs which is combined with the other jurors in their country.
Clara Henry
Clara Henry rose to fame in Sweden as a blogger on YouTube back when she starting uploading videos in 2011. Since then she has broken into mainstream with TV work, beginning as the host of a talk show on Kanal 5.
In 2014 Clara began to host both the pre-show and after-show for Melodifestivalen in Sweden. Three years later she was promoted to be one of the hosts of Melodifestivalen itself for the 2017 contest. She did so alongside David Lindgren and Hasse Andersson.
In addition to her blogging and TV presenting, Clara is also a well known comedian and author in Sweden, having released her “Ja jag har mens, hurså?” (translated in English to I’ve Got My Period, So What?) in 2015.

Lleucu Young
At just 17 year old, Lleucu has had an impressive start to her career. Originally from Hanko in Finland, she now lives in Helsinki.
In 2015, she joined the Swedish girl group High15. The group advanced to the semi finals round of Swedish TV show “Talent” back in 2017. Later the group released their first single “Adios” in 2018. In November 2018 it was revealed that High15 would participate in Melodifestivalen 2019 where they sang their song “No Drama”. The song finished in sixth place in their semi final.
As a solo artist, Lleucu Young also participated in The Voice Kids in Finland back in 2014 as well as singing the Swedish National Anthem in 2015 at the Stockholm Marathon.

Sylvia Vrethammar
Sylvia Vrethammar is a famous singer in Sweden with a career spanning for decades. Her success began back in 1969 when she released “Tycker om dej“.
Her most successfully released song was a cover of the popular song “Y Viva España” which sold over one million copies worldwide and earned her a gold disc. Her version of the song even reached #4 in the UK charts.
Among her impressive career she has twice attempted to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest. She first entered Melodifestivalen in 2002 with the song “Hon är en annan nu”. 11 years on she returned once more to the contest in 2013 with the song “Trivialitet”.

Dotter
Dotter is a popular Swedish singer and songwriter. Her real name is Johanna however she chose the stage name of Dotter, meaning daughter in Swedish due to her vegan lifestyle which she considers to make her a “daughter of Mother Earth”.
Dotter began releasing music back in 2014 with her debut single “My Flower”. Following further single releases such as “Dive” and “Evolution”, Dotter first got involved within Melodifestivalen in 2017 as a song-writer for Mariette with the song “A Million Years”.
The following year she entered for the first time as an artist where sadly her song “Cry” did not advance the semi final stage. Determined not to be beaten, Dotter returned as an artist in 2020 where her song “Bulletproof” became a fan favourite almost instantly. Eventually having advance directly to the final, Dotter finished in second place in Friends Arena, just a single point behind The Mamas.

Erik Dahlqvist
Erik Dahlqvist is a songwriter, musician and producer. Most recently he has been credited as a songwriter of both “Bulletproof” by Dotter and “Queen” by Azeri singer Samra, released in 2020. Samra and Dotter will join Erik as fellow members of Eurojury this year.
The song “Bulletproof” came second in Melodifestivalen this year and has gone on to achieve 8 million streams on Spotify, the most of any entry in this year’s contest.
In addition to his songwriting, Erik works as a regional sales manager in Sweden and was also a drummer for the Celtic punk rock band Sir Reg.

Anna Bergendahl
Anna Bergendahl first came to the attention of Eurovision viewers back in 2010 where at the age of 18 she represented Sweden with the song “This Is My Life”. Despite being a fan-favourite and being Sweden’s 50th entry at the contest, the song is credited as the one and only time in the country’s history where they did not advance to the grand final.
Prior to her appearance at the Eurovision Song Contest, Anna competed on Swedish Idol back in 2008 where she finished a highly respectable 5th. She released her albums “Yours Sincerely” and “Something To Believe In” in 2010 and 2012 respectively with the former making it to #1 in the Swedish charts.
Nine years on from her win at Melodifestivalen, Anna returned to the contest in an attempt to earn redemption at Eurovision. She competed in the 2019 edition with her song “Ashes to Ashes”. She eventually finished in 10th place in the grand final. Following the release of her singles “Home” and “Speak Love”, she returned the following year to Melodifestivalen with the song “Kingdom Come”. Being an instant favourite with the fans, this time she advanced directly to the final where she finished third.

Stina Stjernkvist
Stina Stjenkvist is a photographer and photojournalist. She has worked as the official photographer for Melodifestivalen, Sweden’s Eurovision selection show since 2015 and has also worked on SVT’s popular summer concert series Allsång på Skansen.
In addition to her work on Melodifestivalen, Stina worked in the camera and electrical department on the TV show “Rebecka Martinsson: Arctic Murders” where she is credited as a still photographer.

Erik Gabriel
Erik Gabriel is best known as the vocalist in duo “The Lovers of Valdaro” formed in 2018. He appears in the group alongside the producer of the band Adam Warhester.
They were selected as the first act in the 2019 edition of Melodifestivalen having appeared in radio show P4 Nästa with the song “Lost Forever”. They competed at Melodifestivalen with the song “Somebody Wants”.
Prior to this, Erik had previously appeared as a backing singer and dancer for Moldova in 2018 with the band DoReDoS. In addition to his work in The Lovers of Valdaro, Erik is a singer and songwriter for Playground Music in Sweden and also has experience within musical theatre.

Sweden will feature in the 1st position in the first semi final of Eurojury 2020 on Monday the 27th of April. Sweden were due to be represented in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 by The Mamas with the song “Move”.
About Eurojury 2020
Eurojury will return in 2020 for the eighth broadcast of the most accurate simulation of Eurovision results. 180 Eurovision winners, past participants, national finalists and a handful of special guests are due to take part in this year’s edition, which will be broadcast live on Showcase, by Eurovoix on May 1st.
For the past two years, Eurojury has correctly identified the winner of Eurovision with both Netta and Duncan Laurence topping the overall leaderboard in Eurojury and the Eurovision Song Contest itself. Eurojury also correctly identified four out of the top five acts in the final in Tel Aviv.
For a fifth consecutive year, Rob Lilley will present the coverage. This will be the third time he has been the sole presenter following two editions with a co-host – 2016 with Karl William Lund and in 2019 with Alice Chapman.
Directing the show once again will be Samuel Deakin – he has conducted this role on every edition of Eurojury. Heading up the production will be James Rowe after he co-produced the broadcast in 2019.
