Tonight: Belarus Selects For Rotterdam While Beovizija Commences in Serbia

Belarus will select their act for the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest tonight, while Beovizija commences in Serbia.

The next nation to select their entrant for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 is Belarus, with a live national selection from Minsk, Belarus. Alongside Belarus selecting, Serbia kicks off three nights of Beovizija with the first semi-final.

The schedule for this evening is as follows:

  • 20:00 CET – Belarus – National Final
  • 21:00 CET – Serbia – Beovizija – Semi-Final One

20:00 CET – Belarus – National Final

Twelve acts take to the stage at the BelarusFilm studios this evening in Minsk, vying to represent Belarus in the Netherlands.

This evening Belarus will select its representative for the Eurovision Song Contest. Having held live auditions in January a total of twelve acts will be competing this evening.  Helena Meraai and Evgeny Perlin will take the role as hosts of the show.

The full running order for the show is as follows:

  1. NAPOLI – Do not let me down
  2. Sasha Zakharik – Rocky Road
  3. Anastasia Malashkevich – Invisible
  4. CHAKRAS Group – La-ley-la
  5. Nastya Glamozda – Burning Again
  6. Anastasia Razvadovskaya – Hello
  7. Jan Yarosh – Fire
  8. Angelika Pushnova – True Love
  9. Daria Khmelnitskaya – On Fire
  10. AURA – Barani svajo
  11. Keysi – Chili Pepper
  12. VAL – Da vidna

As previously announced, unlike last year, where the jury alone decided the winner, a mixture of public voting (50%) and jury voting (50%) will decide the Belarusian entrant for Eurovision 2020. In case of a tie, the jury vote will take preference.

Twelve acts are competing in the first semi-final of Beovizija for six places in the final on Sunday evening.

Four hosts will guide viewers through the show this evening in Belgrade. Popular Serbian hosts Dragana Kosjerina and Kristina Radenkovic will be joined by international hosts of Serbian descent – Swedish Jovan Radomir and Australian Stefan Popovic.

The twelve acts will be competing to win over the Serbian public and jury who will determine the six acts progressing to the final. The running order for the show is as follows:

  3. Ivan Kurtić ft. Geapsy Train – Sabajle (At Dawn)
  4. Thea Devy – Sudnji dan (Judgement Day)

  6. Andrija Jo – Uvek (Always)
  7. Sanja Bogosavljević – Ne puštam (I Won’t Let Go)
  8. Marko Marković – Kolači (Cookies)
  9. Srđan Lazić – Duša i telo (Body and Soul)
  10. Neda Ukraden – Bomba (The Bomb)
  11. Biljana Đurđević & Amvon – Raj (Heaven)
  12.  Igor Simić – Ples za rastanak (Parting Dance)
