The next entry in our “Who Is” series for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 is Mila Moskov from North Macedonia.
Mila Moskov is 14 years old and comes from Prilep in the south of the country. She first started singing at 6 years old at her local music school, and has since gone on to perform at several local and international music festivals. She is currently part of a children’s choir called “Little Angels”, who sing at concerts to help children with special needs.
Mila was selected to represent North Macedonia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 after attending auditions in July. She will sing “Fire”, a song about the dreams and passions that burn in one’s soul.
North Macedonia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest
North Macedonia was one of sixteen countries to take part in the first edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003. On their debut they were represented by Marija & Viktorija with the song “Ti ne me poznavaš” finishing 12th with 19 points. Macedonia’s best result to date is 5th place, which they achieved in 2007 with “Ding Ding Dong” by Rosica & Dimitar and in 2008 with “Prati mi SMS” by Bobi Andonov.
