Voting has opened today as Russia selects their entry for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Poland.
Online voting has opened as Russia selects their participants for this years Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Voting will remain open for 5 days and closes the day before the Russian selection will take place.
A total of eleven acts are competing in the selection process. The selection is formed of nine solo singers, one duet and one group. You can listen to all of the competing songs below:

- Maryana Titova – My Legendy (We Legends)
- Mikhail Noginsky – Supergeroy (Superhero)
- Nikita Moroz – Nikita And Friends
- Tatyana Mezhentseva & Oorzhak Denberel – Vremya Dlya Nas (A Time For Us)
- Julia Solnyshkova – Yarkiy Svet (Bright World)
The winner of the Russian selection process will be determined by a combination of public and jury voting. Online voting for the show will open tomorrow and remain open for five days. These votes will be combined with the votes of the jury to select the Russian representative.
Russia had their worst result to date in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest at the 2018 contest. Anna Filipchuk performed the song “Unbreakable” finishing 10th overall. The singer was 11th with the juries on 60 points and 7th in the online vote on 62 points. The nations worst result prior to 2018 was in 2008 when Mikhail Puntov finished 7th in Cyprus.
Russia debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2005 and has participated in the contest every year since. Russia won the contest for the first time in 2006 when they were represented by the Tolmachevy Twins with the song “Vesenniy jazz”, who scored a total of 154 points. Russia has never finished outside of the top 10 in their time at the contest, and have finished second twice, fourth four times and fifth once. At the 2017 contest in Georgia, Russia won the contest for a second time represented by Polina Bogusevich and “Wings”.
