Junior Eurovision 2018 Tickets Sold Out

Tickets for the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest have sold out.

Despite going on sale last week, tickets for this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest have now sold out. A total of 22,000 tickets went on sale, with over a thousand selling every day. It has also been revealed that a section in the Minsk Arena is reserved for pupils of orphanages and gifted children.

A limited amount of tickets for the rehearsal on 24th November are still available.

The 2018 edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Minsk, Belarus after the country won the bidding process before the 2017 contest even began. Olga Salamankha explained that Belarus was selected as the host for next years contest over other bids due to their long-term commitment to the competition.

Twenty countries will take part in this years contest. These are:

  • Armenia
  • Australia
  • Azerbaijan – Returning nation
  • Belarus
  • France – Returning nation
  • FYR Macedonia
  • Georgia
  • Ireland
  • Israel – Returning nation
  • Italy
  • Kazakhstan – Debut
  • Malta
  • Poland
  • Portugal
  • Russia
  • Serbia
  • The Netherlands
  • Ukraine
  • Wales – Debut
