S4C has revealed how the first Welsh participant in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be determined in the final of Chwilio am Seren.
Tomorrow evening Wales will select their singer for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018. Six singers are competing in the final of Chwilio am Seren live from Llandudno. The finalists are:

- Lauren Mia
- Manw
- Misha
- Ella Georgia
- Lily
The finalists were selected by a panel of mentors consisting of Connie Fisher, Stifyn Parri and Tara Bethan. The final will take place in two parts, during the first part all six singers will perform covers of existing songs. There will be five panels of judges in Aberystwyth, Llandudno, Carmarthen, Cardiff and London who will be judging the first round of performances.
The three singers with the most votes from the five panels will go on to sing ‘Hi yw y Berta’. Once all three of the singers the public televote will open and the audience will be able to vote for their favourite. The singer that receives the most votes from the public will represent Wales on their debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
