RTS have broadcast the JESC 2017 Serbia national final, and the winning song “Ceo svet je naš” is now available to listen to.
Today RTS broadcast the Serbian national final for Junior Eurovision 2017, which saw Irina Brodić and Jana Paunović take the victory. Their song, “Ceo svet je naš” is now available to listen to below.
The song translates to “The World is Ours”, and will represent the country in the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Tbilisi, Georgia. The duo beat two other hopefuls to the crown, ending with 56 points from the jury. The other contestants were:
- Irina Arsenijević – “Šta je svet bez ljubavi” – ended in 2nd place, 48 points
- Darija Vračević – “Ove zvezde smo ti i ja” – ended in 3rd place, 46 points
The winner was decided by a jury panel made up of Nevena Božović (who represented Serbia at JESC 2007 and ESC 2013), Vojkan Borisavljević (composer and producer), Ljiljana Randelović (choir conductor), Čeda Hodžić (RTS music editor), and Zoran Kiki Lesendrić (singer).
Sixteen countries will take part in the 15th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest this year, including returning country Portugal, who haven’t participated since 2007. The contest will take place in the Olympic Palace in Tbilisi, Georgia on Sunday 26th November 2017 at 16:00 – 18:00 CET. This is the first time Georgia has hosted any Eurovision event. The sixteen countries taking part are:
- FYR Macedonia
- The Netherlands

Serbia made their debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2006. They were represented by Neustrašivi učitelji stranih jezika on their debut with the song “Učimo strane jezike”, finishing 5th with 81 points. Serbia went on to compete annually until 2010, after which point RTS withdrew from the contest due to financial difficulties. Serbia returned to the contest in 2014 and has gone on to compete in the contest annually.
