Isabella Clarke will sing “Speak Up” at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Today it has been revealed that Australian representative Isabella Clarke will be singing “Speak Up” at this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest. This was revealed on the official Junior Eurovision YouTube channel, in an introductory video. Watch the video below:
According to the channel, her song will be released soon. Isabella, who is from Victoria, has been singing for several years and has received various musical accolades from singing competitions. She has posted a number of her performances on YouTube. She is a principal vocalist in the Victorian State Schools Spectacular, singing in front of 10,000 people in Melbourne.
Isabella Clarke will be the third Australian representative in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Australia first competed in the contest in 2015 in Sofia where Bella Paige came in 8th place with My Girls. In the 2016 contest in Valletta, Malta, Alexa Curtis finished in 5th place with We Are.
[tw-divider][/tw-divider]Sixteen countries will take part in the 15th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest this year, including returning country Portugal, who haven’t participated since 2007. The contest will take place in the Olympic Palace in Tbilisi, Georgia on Sunday 26th November 2017 at 16:00 – 18:00 CET. This is the first time Georgia has hosted any Eurovision event. The sixteen countries taking part are:
