Eurovision 2017: Grand Final Sells Out

The grand final of the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest has now officially sold out, Eurovision.tv have announced.

The tickets for the grand final of this year’s contest first went on sale back in February, with more tickets being released in April. Now, with just over a week to go until the final, it has been officially announced that the last tickets for the final have now been sold. Eurovision.tv have stated that there are still tickets for both semi-finals up for sale, and that these are available through the official ticket-provider concert.ua.

Back in April, the contest organisers released some advice to those attending the event in Kyiv. It is advised that those attending the contest live should arrive at least 2 hours before the shows are due to begin due to airport-style security. In addition, it is strongly advised that people bring ID in the form of a passport.

Thisย year’s Eurovision Song Contest is being held in Kyiv for the second time. The first time that the city hosted the contest was 2005, when Ruslana’s song “Wild Dances” brought Ukraine their first victory in Istanbul in 2004. This year’s contest returns to the country thanks to Jamala’s victory last year in Stockholm with “1944”.
