Moldova has got the visuals of their performance worked out perfectly, it’s an infectious and energetic performance.
Moldova are safely through to the final in my view. The visuals tie in brilliantly with the overall feel of the song. This is the most assured performance that Moldova has brought to the Eurovision Song Contest stage since 2013. Vocals are strong no issues as we’ve seen in previous years. If the audience at home can recognise Epic Sax Guy this could do incredibly well with the public televote.
Sunstroke Project last participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2010 alongside Olia Tira, they qualified for the final with “Runaway” but finished 22nd. Since then they have attempted to represent Moldova at the contest on a further three occasions. In 2015 they narrowly missed out on returning the contest finishing 3rd in the national final.

Moldova debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005 when the contest was last held in Kyiv, Ukraine. In 2005 Moldova debuted in the contest alongside Bulgaria, while that year Hungary also returned to the contest having been absent since 1998. Moldova is currently in its worse run of results in their history in the contest, having failed to make the final since 2013. At the 2016 contest in Stockholm, the country finished 17th in their semi-final scoring a total of 33 points.
