Spain: Eurocasting Full Voting Results Revealed

The full voting results from the Eurocasting round of Spain’s Eurovision 2017 selection have been revealed today by RTVE.

RTVE has revealed the full voting results from the Eurocasting round of the countries Eurovision selection process. The voting results revealed today show how the judges voted for the final three artists who performed in Thursday night’s final, but also show the full public vote for the final 30 participants.

Jury Voting For Three Eurocasting Finalists:

1. LeKlein – Ouch! – 9 points (1,3,0,0,2,3,0)
2. Fruela – Live It Up – 8 points (3,2,0,3,0,0,0)
3. Javian – No somos heroes – 7 points (0,0,3,1,0,0,3)
4. Brequette Cassie – No Enemy – 6 points (2,1,1,2,0,0,0)
5. Nicky Triphook – Daddy’s Little Girl – 6 points (0,0,0,0,3,2,1)
6. Nieves Hidalgo – Esclava – 2 points (0,0,2,0,0,0,0)
7. Pedro Elipe – Del dolor – 2 points (0,0,0,0,0,0,2)
8. Rebeca Moss – Volvere por ti – 1 point (0,0,0,0,0,1,0)
9. Romy Low – In Love – 1 point (0,0,0,0,1,0,0)
10. Nito – Luna – 0 points (0,0,0,0,0,0,0)

To select the 10 artists who would be judged by the professional juries, a total of 30 songs were placed onto the RTVE website. The public was then invited to vote for the song they wanted to see go through to the Eurcasting final.

The results were as follows:

The results of the first round of public voting shows that given the choice the Spanish public would not have selected LeKlein to participate in the final of Objetivo Eurovisión. The jury opted only to select the artists who finished second, fourth and sixth with the public to go through to the public vote. The clearest swing in votes is for Nito who topped the public vote, but failed to score a single point with the juries.

A total of six songs are still in the running to represent Spain at Eurovision 2017, they are:

• “Momento crítico” – Maika
• “Contigo” – Mirela
• “Do It For Your Lover” – Manel Navarro
• “Lo que nunca fue” – Paula Rojo
• “Ouch!” – LeKlein
