Three time Eurovision hopeful Anastasia Malashkevich has ruled out participating in this years Belarussian selection.
Anastasia has competed in every Belarussian Eurovision selection process since 2014. Her best result in the selections came in 2015 when she finished in 2nd place just 10 points behind Uzari & Maimuna. The singer in an interview with Budzma.by said that she was tired due to other commitments including writing new material.
Anastasia is currently in the middle of preparing to participate in the Russian version of “The Voice”. Former participants in the Russian version of “The Voice” include Petr Elfimov (Belarus 2009), Intars Busulis (Latvia 2009) as well as Dina Garipova who won the first season of the contest and represented Russia in 2013.
Belarus has yet to confirm their participation in next years contest, last year their call for songs took place on October 23.
