
Ahead of “Battle of the Cities” tomorrow evening, NTU has revealed more details about the show and who will be participating.
“Battle of the Cities” is bringing together the six cities bidding to host Eurovision 2017 to debate their bids in a live two-hour show. The show will start at 18:40 local time, 17:40 CET and will be hosted by Timur Miroshnychenko, commentator for Ukraine since 2007 and host of Junior Eurovision in both 2009 and 2013.
Each of the six cities will be represented by one individual on the debate stage, while members of the audience will be able to pose questions to the bidding cities. In each of the six cities events are being organised to show the residents supports for their respective bids.
Representing the six cities at the debate are:
- Dnipro – Borys Filatov – Mayor of Dnipro
- Kharkiv – Igor Terekhov – Deputy Mayor of Kharkiv
- Kherson – Volodymyr Mykolayenko – Mayor of Kherson
- Kyiv – Oleksiy Reznikov – Deputy Head of State Administration
- Lviv – Andriy Moskalenko – Deputy Mayor for Development
- Odessa – Hennadiya Trukhanova – Mayor of Odessa
