The Petrykivka painting style has been proposed as the design from which the Eurovision 2017 branding could be based.
The Petrykivka painting style originates in the small village of Petrykivka in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. It is recognised by UNESCO to be aย part of intangible cultural heritage of Ukraine. The idea for using the painting style was put forward by a student at the Lviv National Academy of Arts and has been well received by the Ukrainian public.

It looks like a modern revamp of the 2005 logo.
I think it would be very fitting to have this logo to show how times change but things are still similar.
In 2005 Ukraine wanted to use the contest to help European relations and with the current situation in Ukraine I think it would be great to reassert that desire. ๐
