RTE of Ireland has confirmed that they will be participating in Eurovision 2017.
Ireland were represented by Nicky Byrne at this years contest in Stockholm, Sweden. The former Westlife member failed to make the final, continuing the countries worst run of non-qualifications since the semi finals were introduced. No details have been announced so far regarding how they will select their participant.
To date 15 countries have confirmed their participation in Eurovision 2017.

The fact they have confirmed participation so early worries me, tells me RTE are just going to do the same as they have done since 2014
