The betting odds have Norway in the final ahead of the second semi final tonight, but it’s very precarious.
Agnete is representing Norway tonight with the song “Icebreaker” and currently scrapes her way into the final according to the betting odds. Norway has been in a week-long battle for the 10th place in the final alongside Denmark and Georgia. At the top of the odds to get through to the final are Ukraine, Australia and Serbia. All three of these countries have sent powerful female ballads and are tipped to do well on Saturday night with top.10 results very likely.
Countries to watch tonight for results that really matter are Belgium, Latvia and Bulgaria. Belgium are hoping for the first time to make it through to the final for a second year in a row. VRT were in charge of the Belgian selection this year, if Laura Tesoro can make it through she will be the first Flemish act in a final since 2010. Laura currently sits 5th in the odds. Latvia who sit 4th in the odds are represented by Justs with “Heartbeat”, Latvia has not made a final two years in a row since 2007-2008. While Bulgaria are looking for just their second Saturday night, Poli Genova failed to make the final in 2011 but is currently 7th in the odds going into the show.
