Argo perform in Pontic Greek

Argo (formerly known as Europond) are to represent Greece at the 61st Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, Sweden.

Agro is made up of Christina Lachana, Maria Venetikidou, Vladimiros Sofianidis, Kostas Topouzis, Ilias Kesidis and Alekos Papadopoulos. The band has changed their name ahead of this years Eurovision Song Contest, the band were formerly known as Europond.

The song that they will perform in Stockholm has strong Balkan and ethnic sounds, but not a traditional sound. Adding that the lyrics of the song will focus on the refugee crisis and financial difficulties across Europe, but the song as a whole will be happy and upbeat. The date of the song reveal has not been announced>
