Tonight: Belarus Selects, Malta Holds MESC Semi Final

Tonight two countries are holding Eurovision selections. Belarus will deciding their participant for Stockholm while Malta will be holding the semi final of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2016 ahead of their final on Saturday night.

Belarus – 20:00 CET:

10 singers will be competing tonight live from Minsk to represent Belarus at the 61st Eurovision Song Contest. Belarus are selecting their 13th entrant for the contest and will be hoping that their entrant will take them back to the final.

The selection tonight is being hosted by Olga Ryzhikova and Teo who represented Belarus at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. The selection this year is promised to be the best selection Belarus has held to date with one of it’s most technologically advanced national finals planned. The winner of the selection will be selected by 100% televote.

Malta – Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2016 Semi Final – 20:50 CET:

A total of 19 artists with 20 songs are competing to be one of the 14 finalists in the 2016 edition of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest. The show is being hosted by local television star Ben Camille. The qualifiers for the final on Saturday night will be selected by six judges who hold 6/7 of the vote, the remaining 1/7 of the vote is decided by the Maltese public.
