Donny Montell wants to return to the Eurovision Song Contest stage in 2016 with the singer submitting a song into the Lithuanian selection process.
Donny Montell represented Lithuania at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest in Baku, Azerbaijan with the song “Love is Blind”. He finished in the 14th place in the final with a total of 70 points which included a 12 points from Georgia. Donny announced his plans for a Eurovision return on his official Facebook page saying that as soon as he was off of the stage in Baku he wanted to return to the show.
The song for Lithuania’s selection has been written and produced and will be submitted today into the selection process. The song itself will be revealed on Friday along with a music video. Since participating in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2012 Donny has gone on to become a well known star in Lithuania.
