This Christmas, the ESC News Group and NPBC are proud to present ‘Together as One’, a single release of three recordings to be released during December 2015, in aid of the organisations’ Official Charity Partner, ‘Bloodwise’.

After over a year’s partnership with ‘Flying the Flag’ (the organisation behind the charitable ‘ABBA the Flag’ campaign in 2014), Flying the Flag became an internal department of the ESC News Group – so to offer better access and incorporate the assets of the ESC News Group in developing future  ampaigns to fundraise for Bloodwise. After successfully launching the ‘Sound of Vienna’ flag campaign, Together as One marks the beginning of the second project to be released. To ensure the  highest possible amount is raised for the charity, all aspects of the project have been funded in full by departments of the NPBC, NTU Ukraine, and the artists participating.

In summer 2015, the National Publishing and Broadcasting Collective Symphony Orchestra, under the arrangement and preparation of manager Lewis Ashley, rerecorded an orchestral version of the classic ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love with You’. The track was recorded by Junior Eurovision Song Contest participants Sofiia Kutsenko and Sophia Patsalides.

Sofiia Kutsenko represented Ukraine in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 as one third of the trio ‘Sympho-Nick’. Sophia Patsalides represented Cyprus at the same contest, which was held in Malta. After months of preparation, the artists are proud to present their versions of this incredibly powerful, touching, and peaceful song.

The third track presented on the single is performed by Norwegian artist Annsofi – Annsofi participated in the Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix 2013 with the song ‘I’m With You’ written by Alexander Rybak. Annsofi has worked closely with the ESC News Group since then, and recorded the track ‘Together As One’ as the anthem to the ESC News Heart Campaign of 2013 – recognised by the Nobel Peace Center. This powerful track is about the unity presented in song contests, and inspired by the ‘Europe from War to Peace’ exhibition held by the Nobel Peace Center. The track was written and produced by Norwegian duo Kelner, runners up of the ESC News Track of the Year.

You will be able to listen to the first snippet of the song on December 2nd as part of the ESC News Group Christmas Promotional trailer, focusing upon unity and discovery, will be released and will feature a short extract of the instrumental track, limited vocals, and a portion of the music videos. The single will then be able to be downloaded from December 5th on iTunes with the music video being released on the same day. The physical CD will be available from December 10th on Amazon and the ESC News Group Store.
