Cyprus: No Return To Eurovision Young Musicians in 2016

CyBC the national broadcaster of Cyprus has informed Eurovoix.com that they will not be returning to Eurovision Young Musicians in 2016.

Cyprus participated in every edition of Eurovision Young Musicians from 1988 to 2010 but did not qualify for the final of the competition on any of those occasions. They are the country that participated the most times in the competition without reaching the final.

To date Germany, Poland and Slovenia have confirmed their participation in the competition in Cologne, Germany.

  1. They didn’t participate in 2000. I wrote e-mails to a lot of EBU members in the Summer and I got this reply from Cyprus.
