Hind Laroussi who represented the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 has released her latest single “Salam Salam”.
Hind is most well known for finishing third in the first season of Idols in 2003, in 2008 she represented the Netherlands in Belgrade with “Your Heart Belongs To Me”. Hind’s latest single is a plea for peace, with “Salam” translating as “the peace”. Hind calls the style of music she performs “Crosspop” which is pop music with minimal influences of other music styles/genres as in, jazz, soul, r&b, Spanish influences and Arabic influences.
