The submissions window for songs for A Dal has opened today, interested participants have until November 15th to submit their song to MTVA. A Dal has been used to select Hungary’s Eurovision entrant from 2012 onwards and has seen them qualify for the final on every occassion.
The rules state that you must submit sounding material audio files and MP3 formats, as well as the lyrics, or, if not in Hungarian, the Hungarian translation of the lyrics. As with all selections the song and it’s lyrics or backing track must not have been presented before September 1st 2014.
Nitra Kata of MTVA said that:
A Dal in 2015 is not a talent show with artists are invited who have already started a music career, appeared in at least one song, nationally played was added, and a new song can apply that is worthy even of the international contest.
Your submissions must be handed in at the following address between 10:00-15:00:
Eurovíziós Dalfesztivál, MTVA, 1037 Budapest, Kunigunda útja 64.
