LTV of Latvia has confirmed that they will participate in the 60th Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria. For the past couple of years there have been fears that Latvia would withdraw from the contest due to failing to qualify for the final every year since 2008. The string of poor results has led to interest in the contest falling in Latvia since their debut in 2000.
How Latvia will select their participant is not known, however it is expected to be an open national selection.
