Martin Brygmann and Sofie Linde have been announced as the hosts of the kids song contest MGP. A total of 12 acts from across Denmark will be taking part in the contest that the Junior Eurovision Song Contest spawned from.
Sofie Linde is known in Denmark for her roles in SommerSummarum, Fredagsfesten, Vi juler for fedt and Unik. She told DR that:
When I was younger MGP one of the year’s TV hit for me. I love the energy and crazy-joy in the program. There will be a party in the living room! So I have it still, when I see MGP. So is the extra fat that would rule the party once again, says Sofie Linde.
Martin Brugmann is an actor and musician, he told DR that:
I’m really looking forward to being MGP-host! Music and children are the two things that are closest to my heart. Of course, there are both bad music and stupid kids, but I’m sure that MGP in Odense is an exception 😉
MGP takes place on March 15th in Odense.
