The first semi final has just finished in Iceland, with 2 acts qualifying for the final in Reykjavik on February 15. The songs that took part tonight were:

- Greta Mjöll Samúelsdóttir – Eftir eitt lag (After one song) – Final
- Gissur Páll Gissurarson – Von (Hope) – Final
- Ásdís María Viðarsdótti – Amor
- Vignir Snær Vigfússon – Elsku þú (Love You)
Next weekend another semi final will take place with 2 more songs selected by a public televote for the final.
