A total of 2240 songs have been entered into the wildcard round of Unser Song für Dänemark, NDR have confirmed today.
Out of the 2240 entries only 10 will go through to the live wildcard selection. The 10 will be selected by a panel made up of representative from Brainpool, Sony BMI, Warner Music, Universal Music, as welll as other independent labels and youth-oriented radio station DJs.
The wildcard round takes place on February 27, while the final show will take place on March 13.

Everyone must admit that the best of 2240 is probably better than the best of seven pre-qualified songs, but I am sure that the wildcard entry will not win it.
