The President of TVP, Juliusz Braun confirmed that Poland will be selecting their entrant for Eurovision 2014 internally. He told Radio TOK FM that:
open national finals were not successful in Poland’s case. Experts (real ones) will propose who will represent us and the President will decide on the selection in the end
He did however not reveal when the entrant would be revealed. Mr Braun went on to say that TVP had been engaged in talks with the EBU about returning to the contest stating that:
For the EBU the Eurovision Song Contest is an important project.
Poland last took part in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
