The first heat in the Eurovision selection process for Lithuania has been held tonight. A total of 10 acts were performing past Eurovision entries and were hoping to impress both a jury and televoters to qualify for the next round. A total of 5 acts qualified for the next round whilst 5 were left behind. The acts that qualified are:
- Vilija Matačiūnaitė
- VIG Roses
- Vaidas Baumila
- Aistė Pilvelytė
- Justinas Lapatinskas
Which means that the 5 who failed to make it to the next heat are:
- Aleksandra Metalnikova
- Julija Jegorova
- Juozas Butnorius
- Jurijus Veklenko
- Sasha Son
Sasha Son who represented Lithuania at Eurovision 2009, is the largest name to fail to make it to the next round.
I’m absolutely livid with the pathetically childish behaviour from one of the administrators/authors on Okiotimes, they’ve banned me just because they disagreed with my fair comments, i was telling him that his behaviour was uncalled for and we expected an apology, typical childish Greek though doesn’t see he’s in the wrong and takes his bat and ball away chucking me off the site without any explanation! its bloody disgusting.
he was making uncalled for remarks about Macedonia and their entry this year.
I really shouldn’t be saying this but Oiko are not seen as reputable by anyone in the Eurovision community. Their content is based around stealing articles from other sites and not sourcing that site or giving any credit to them. I’ve tried to protest against them stealing my work but my comments are always deleted.
Why weren’t they allowed to sing their own songs?
