Round Up of Each Countries Performance This Year p10

So the Eurovision Song Contest is gone for another year and the majority of us will drift off back to normality, but for the diehard fans it carries on year round. So how did this year’s contest go for each of the countries this year, this is the a-z of this year’s countries.

Slovenia Final: 13:

This is Slovenia’s joint best results in the past decade in Eurovision, and Slovenia have now got their most points ever in a Eurovision final 96 points. Slovenia have truly turned themselves around from the awful songs they sent in 2009 and 2010. I think Slovenia have a real chance in the next couple of years to make it back into the top.10. Slovenia let’s see that in Baku that should be the target for Slovenia next year.

Spain Final: 23:

Spain are continuing their phase of going backwards, the last decade has been awful for Spain and I’m surprised they have not realised that their national public vote selection is not working. I would love to see Spain go back to the way of the early norties when they were in the op.10 three years running. I think Spain were very lucky this year to get 2 sets of 12 points just under half their points this year.

Sweden Final: 3:

Sweden have turned their hopes around from the horror of the past 5 years, they are back at the ways of pre 2005. Sweden will be over the moon with 3rd after not qualifying last year with a weak song. I hope this continues for Sweden and they may be back for another win in the next two years or so. I wish Sweden the best of luck and we should see you in Azerbaijan.

Switzerland Final: 25:

Yes they may have come last in this year’s final but come on they made it to the final something that Switzerland has dreamed of for the past 5 years. They are so pleased that they have already outlined their selection process for 2012 and said they will be in Azerbaijan. I was shocked when the UK gave Switzerland a 10 but I think we may get something back from them next year. Anyway look forward to hearing a Swiss song in Baku.

We only have three countries left all of whom will be up later.
