It has been confirmed to us today by NTU that Ukraine will not be taking part in Eurovision Young Musicians 2014.
Ukraine debuted in the contest in back in 2008, where they failed to qualify from the semi final. In 2010 they went on to withdraw from the contest, and then returned in 2012 where they once again failed to qualify from the semi final.
Ukraine join Belarus in withdrawing from this years contest. While Malta are debuting at the contest and Sweden are returning. So far 10 countries have confirmed participation in the contest, which is limited to 14 countries.
