Adevarul the Moldovan news website, has revealed this evening that a total of 61 songs have submitted into the Moldovan Eurovision selection, by 57 artists. This figure is up by 8 over 2013, when a total of 49 artists applied to represent Moldova in the contest.
This year the Moldovan selection has changed slightly, with two semi finals, from which 7 songs will qualify with a combination of jury and public vote, while the 8th song will be decided by 100% televote score. The Moldovan national final will take place on March 15th.
