Junior Eurovision 2017: Day Two Of Press Conferences Take Place

The second lot of press conferences took place today in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Today was the fourth day of rehearsals for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017, where a further eight countries had their second rehearsals and took part in press conferences in Tbilisi, Georgia. The eight countries that had their second rehearsals today were Italy, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, The Netherlands, and Ukraine. Albania also got to rehearse once again today due to technical issues during the rehearsal yesterday.

When they weren’t on stage, they were participating in interviews with Eurovision press and an official press conference.

Georgian broadcaster GPB streamed the conferences live onto their YouTube channel earlier today, which you can watch below.

Sixteen countries will take part in the 15th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest this year, including returning country Portugal, who haven’t participated since 2007. The contest will take place at the Olympic Palace in Tbilisi, Georgia on Sunday 26th November 2017 at 16:00 – 18:00 CET. This is the first time Georgia has hosted any Eurovision event.

  9. Georgia
  10. Albania
  11. Ukraine
  12. Malta
  13. Russia

  16. Italy

This year you can vote for your favourite artist via online voting on junioreurovision.tv, which will be combined with votes from professional juries. Online voting will be open to the public this Friday, November 24th. Read more about how to vote here.
