Malta: Mariam Andghuladze Announced As Junior Eurovision Spokesperson

Mariam Andghuladze will be announcing the results from Malta at this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

Maltese broadcaster TVM has revealed to Eurovoix.com that Mariam Andghuladze will be announcing the voting results from Malta at Junior Eurovision 2017. Mariam is from Georgia, the host of this year’s contest.

Maltese participant Gianluca Cilia had his second rehearsal today, where he sang his song “Dawra Tond”. Gianluca Cilia was joined by five dancers on stage, who energetic choreography matched the feel of the song. Gianluca comes down the ramp during the Maltese part of the song and sings the second last chorus through a megaphone. He is followed by the dancers and finishes the song there. Sixteen countries will take part in the 15th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest this year, including returning country Portugal, who haven’t participated since 2007. The contest will take place at the Olympic Palace in Tbilisi, Georgia on Sunday 26th November 2017 at 16:00 – 18:00 CET. This is the first time Georgia has hosted any Eurovision event.
