Aimee Banks the first Irish singer at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest performed on the Late Late Show last night.
The singer who was selected to represent Ireland on their debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest performed her song “Réalta Na Mara”. Ireland are performing in Irish at a Eurovision event for the first time since the Eurovision Song Contest 1972. The dress that Aimee wore at the Late Late Show is the one that she will be wearing on stage in Sofia.
The Irish delegation are currently flying out to Sofia ahead of the opening ceremony tomorrow night where we will find out where Ireland will be performing in the final on November 21.
