Reveal: JESC History Series

Just 2.5 Months To Go!
Just 2.5 Months To Go!

It’s the 1st of September so it’s time to reveal a project that I’ve been working on for the past couple of weeks. With Junior Eurovision now just 2 and a half months away, I decided to take a look back at the original contest that kicked it all off. With that in mind I present to you:

JESC History: Junior Eurovision 2003

This area on the website gives you all the history and information about the first Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003. We give you the background to the contest and the show that it is based on, the changes that took place in the run up to the contest and information about the things that Junior Eurovision 2003 did first.

Every countries selection is covered with 16 different pages of information about the national selections or internal selections from across Europe. We have searched the internet to try to bring you as many of the songs that took part in those first selections to you, as well as giving you the voting results and even in a few cases how to watch those selections again.

This is an open project so if you have any additional information, videos or suggestions on what to add to what we’ve got so far, send us an email to eurovoix@eurovoix.com or post a comment below.
