The last thematic round of the Georgian Junior Eurovision selection commenced last night, with five singers competing for their place in the Semi-Final of the contest.
The Georgian selection has reached its last thematic round before five of the singers are knocked out of the competition. The latest round sees the ten participants performing covers of songs from Georgian cinema. Davit Aladashvili and Vache Gviniashvili were the hosts.
Voting was determined by way of a professional jury made up of two permanent jurors, Dato Evgenidze and Nato Metonidze, and guest juror Davit Tsintsadze.
- Zurab Naskidashvili – 40+40+40 – 120 points
- Luka Mikadze – 40+40+40 – 120 points
- Anamaria Kukishvili – 40+38+39 – 117 points
- Ana Tavdgiridze – 39+38+39 – 116 points
- Luka Guturishvili – 38+39+38 – 115 points
This means the points totals for the five singers after four rounds are:
- Zurab Naskidashvili – 120+118+120+120 – 478 points
- Ana Tavdgiridze – 120+120+120+116 – 476 points
- Luka Mikadze – 120+118+116+120 – 474 points
- Anamaria Kukishvili – 120+117+120+117 – 474 points
- Luka Guturishvili – 120+120+116+115 – 471 points

Georgia has won the contest on four occasions, making it the most successful country in the history of the contest. Georgia debuted in Junior Eurovision in 2007 with Mariam Romelashvili and her song “Odelia Ranuni”, where she placed 4th with 116 points. Their first win was just a year later in 2008, with the trio Bzikebi and their song “Bzz”. Their second win was in 2011 with the group Candy and their song “Candy Music”. Georgia’s third victory came in 2016, when Mariam Mamadashvili performed her song “Mzeo”. Most recently, Andria Putkaradze won in 2024 with “To My Mom”.
