Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen head into the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 for Finland as the favourites to take victory in the 70th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest.
Having led the odds heading into rehearsals, Finland heads into tonight’s final as the favourites to take victory in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. “Liekinheitin” sits at a more than 40% chance of victory according to the betting markets, followed by an ever-closing in Delta Goodrem for Australia with a more than 23% chance of victory, and DARA from Bulgaria in 3rd.
For Finland, it could be a second victory exactly 20 years since Lordi won in Athens, while for Australia and Bulgaria, it would be their first in the history of the competition. With the rule changes that have occurred this year to both the juries and televote, there is potential for an upset. Memorably, last year the betting odds backed KAJ from Sweden for victory, who would end up 4th, over 110 points behind the winner, Austria.
