Portugal’s selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 continued on Sunday night with the tthird episode of The Voice Kids on RTP.
The Voice Kids continues in Portugal, as the nations’ search for Junior Eurovision commenced. Nena, Miguel Cristovinho, Diogo Piçarra and Cuca Roseta returned as the coaches for the latest series, Catarina Furtado returns as host, while Maria Petronilho is the Digital Presenter.
The results of the third episode of the Blind Auditions are as follows:

The Voice Kids has been used to select the Portuguese representative since 2021. RTP used to select the highest placing eligible singer to compete in Junior Eurovision. Since 2025, the winner goes to the contest. The show is being broadcast on RTP 1 and RTP Mundo from 22:00 CET every Sunday.
Inês Gonçalves represented Portugal at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with “Para onde vai o amor?”. She finished 13th with 73 points.
Portugal debuted at the 2006 edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Bucharest. The country placed second-last in 2006 and 2007 and withdrew in 2008. They did not return until 2017, when they were represented by Mariana Venâncio, who placed 14th with her song “YouTuber”. In 2024, Victoria Nicole finished 2nd for Portugal, its best-ever result in the contest.
