Monroe travelled to Poland this week to promote her participation in the 70th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest.
The French representative Monroe visited Warsaw earlier this week to promote her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest. The singer who will perform “Regarde !” for France, appeared on TVP’s morning show and performed her song, before she met with Alicja who will represent Poland with “Pray”.
Poland has awarded the following points to France in the past 10 years:
- 2025 – 3 points from the Polish jury
- 2024 – 7 points from the Polish televote, 3 points from the Polish jury
- 2023 – No points awarded
- 2022 – No points awarded
- 2021 – 5 points from the Polish televote
- 2019 – 6 points from the Polish jury
- 2018 – 3 points from the Polish televote
- 2017 – No points awarded
- 2016 – 1 point from the Polish jury
Monroe will perform her song “Regarde !” in the Grand Final on May 16, and will also perform during the second semi-final on May 14. Find out more about Monroe here:
France was one of seven countries to participate in the first Eurovision Song Contest in 1956. Since then, they have participated in every contest except 1974 and 1982. Their withdrawal in 1974 was caused by the death of President Georges Pompidou, while their withdrawal in 1982 was a result of TF1 declining to enter the contest. France has won the contest on five occasions, most recently in 1977, when Marie Myriam performed “L’oiseau et l’enfant”. France’s best result of the 21st century came in 2021, when Barbara Pravi finished second in Rotterdam with “Voilà”.
