Just before the beginning of the rehearsals, several Eurovision artists have attended institutional events in their respective countries.
Last Thursday, Eva Marija was invited by the Austrian Embassy in Luxembourg for a reception ahead of the Eurovision Song Contest. The Austrian Ambassador in Luxembourg, Dr. Karin Proidl, welcomed the artist and her delegation, together with everyone involved in Eva Marijaโs Eurovision journey.
In San Marino, Their Excellencies the Captains Regent Alice Mina and Vladimiro Selva received Senhit in audience at Palazzo Valloni.
Present at the audience were Secretary of State for Tourism Federico Pedini Amati, San Marino RTV General Director Roberto Sergio, San Marino RTV Board Chairman Pasquale Valentini, Denny Montesi, head of the San Marino delegation to Eurovision, Simona Ventura, host of the San Marino Song Contest final, journalist Giovanni Terzi, and Giovanni Tittarelli of Media Evolution.
In their remarks, the Captains Regent expressed a sense of deep institutional pride in the Republic of San Marinoโs participation in the Eurovision Song Contest, highlighting how this event represents a unique opportunity to shine the spotlight of Europe on San Marino.
The Most Excellent Captains Regent also expressed their appreciation for Senhit, who will represent the Republic of San Marino to the fullest, bringing to the European stage not only a high-level artistic performance but also the values, history, and pride of the entire country.

The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, met with Satoshi yesterday to wish him farewell for his Eurovision journey:
โI wished him success and told him we canโt wait to see him perform. Iโm glad heโll be carrying our countryโs name forward on this important international stage. Weโre standing by him and rooting for himโboth at home and in the diaspora.
Weโre looking forward with confidence โ and excitement โ to the first semifinal on May 12 and the grand final on May 16.โ
Finally, Akylas attended an event at the residence of the Austrian ambassador in Athens on Tuesday evening, along with the president of ERT, Yiannis Papadopoulos.
As part of the anniversary organisation of the Eurovision Song Contest, which this year marks its 70th anniversary, the Austrian Ambassador to Greece, Gerda Fogl, organized a musical event at the Embassy Residence. At the event, Akylas performed โFertoโ, his entry for Eurovision 2026, and โRise Like a Phoenixโ, the song that won the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 for Austria.

Eurovision 2026
The Eurovision Song Contest 2026 will be held in Vienna following JJโs victory for Austria with โWasted Loveโ in Basel. Both semi-finals are scheduled for May 12 and 14, while the Grand Final will take place on May 16. The contest will be hosted at the Wiener Stadthalle, the same venue used in 2015, which can accommodate up to 16,000 spectators.
