Ahead of their appearance at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, Serbia’s Lavina have released a symphonic version of their competing entry.
As part of Eurovision’s A Little Bit More! series on YouTube, Serbian representatives Lavina have released a symphonic version of their entry “Kraj Mene” (Next to me). This comes a few days after they released an english version of their entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.
Ahead of the Eurovision pre-parties and the contest in Vienna, we spoke with Luka, the band’s frontman. He shared his experience of winning Pesma za Evroviziju, what he believes convinced the Serbian audience to vote for them, their reaction to closing Eurovision Semi-Final 1, as well as their plans for staging and styling. He also told us what the band is looking forward to the most in Vienna.

Serbia has competed as an independent nation in the Eurovision Song Contest since 2007, and has seen great success in the competition. Their first entry in 2007, “Molitva” by Marija Šerifović, won the contest in Helsinki with 268 points, making Serbia one of only two countries to win on their debut. Since then, Serbia finished in the top 10 a further four times, including a 3rd place finish in 2012 with “Nije ljubav stvar” by Željko Joksimović.
