Stage construction is almost complete for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, which is taking place at the Wiener Stadthalle.
ORF has released new images of the construction of the stage for the 70th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, as construction reaches its final stages. The main screen and the LED panels for the stage itself have now been constructed, with the finishing touches being worked on ahead of stand-in rehearsals commencing before the delegations arrive in Vienna next week.
Alongside stage construction, 40 commentators booths, 2,135 lighting fixtures with 8,500 individually controllable LEDs have also been installed in the venue, alongside the construction of the green room. A total of 28 cameras will be used as part of the production, including two camera cranes, three aerial camera systems, and four steady cams. ORF also reports that, for the first time, a system will be used to create a cinematic look to the entire contest.
