Veronica Fusaro’s first television performance of her song for the Eurovision Song Contest, “Alice” will take place on April 11.
SRF has announced that Veronica Fusaro, who will compete for Switzerland at Eurovision 2026, will be a guest on Happy Day on April 11. The singer will give her first television performance of “Alice” which she will perform in Vienna at the 70th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest.
Happy Day will air on April 11 at 20:10 CET on SRF 1. Veronica Fusaro was selected to represent Switzerland at Eurovision 2026, having applied three times to represent the country. She and “Alice” were chosen through a multi stage internal selection process. Veronica Fusaro will perform “Alice” seventh in the second semi-final on May 14.

Switzerland hosted the first Eurovision Song Contest in 1956 in Lugano, a contest that they also won. Lys Assia won the first contest with the song “Refrain”. It wasn’t until 1988 that Switzerland would win the contest again. Celine Dion won with “Ne partez pas sans moi” in Dublin. She beat the United Kingdom to victory by just 1 point. Switzerland won for a third time in 2024, represented by Nemo with “The Code”.
