The Viña del Mar International Song Festival 2026 commences today, with the first of five nights of the competition and performances.
The 2026 edition of Viña del Mar International Song Festival will be the 65th edition of the contest. It is formed of two competitive contests, the International Contest featuring performers of popular music competing and the folklore competition. The event is the biggest musical event in South America and features guest performances from artists and comedians from across the globe.
In each contest, six songs will be selected to compete in the contest, one from Chile and five from across the globe. The songs have been selected by a jury from an open song submissions process, which was held last year.
