LELÉKA has won Vidbir 2026 and will represent Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 with the song “Ridnym”.
The final of Vidbir 2026 took place tonight. Lesya Nikityuk and Timur Miroshnychenko hosted the show. A total of ten acts competed to represent Ukraine in Vienna.
Alongside the contest performances, there were also several guest performances. The guest artists were:
- Ziferblat (Ukraine Eurovision 2025)
- Svitlana Tarabarova alongside Sofia Nersesian (Ukraine Junior Eurovision 2025), Artem Kotenko (Ukraine Junior Eurovision 2024), Anastasia Dymyd (Ukraine Junior Eurovision 2023) and the Superhumans Center.
- Zlata Ognevich (Ukraine Eurovision 2013) and TVORCHI (Ukraine Eurovision 2023)
- Jamala (Eurovision 2016 winner for Ukraine and musical producer for Vidbir 2026), accompanied by the Ukrainian Radio Symphony Orchestra.
- Satoshi (Moldova Eurovision 2026)
The results were decided by a combination of jury voting (50%) and public voting (50%). The jury members were:
- Kostyantyn Tomilchenko – Director, choreographer, and producer
- Ruslana – Eurovision 2004 winner for Ukraine
- Zlata Ognevich – Represented Ukraine at Eurovision 2013, co-hosted Junior Eurovision 2013
- Yevhen Filatov – Singer and composer
- Vitaly Drozdov – General producer of TAVR Media and director of HitFM

Radio Promin and OGAE Ukraine also awarded special awards. LAUD won the Radio Promin award and Jerry Heil won the OGAE Ukraine award.
LELÉKA will perform in the second half of the second semi-final on May 14.
Ukraine first participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2003, when Oleksandr Ponomariov performed “Hasta la vista”. The following year, Ruslana brought the country their first win with the song “Wild Dances”. It was a feat that would be replicated in 2016 by Jamala with her song “1944”, which scored 534 points to take victory in Stockholm. In 2017, O.Torvald represented the country on home soil with the song “Time”. The group finished in 24th place, Ukraine’s worst result at the contest to date. Kalush Orchestra gave Ukraine their third victory in 2022 with “Stefania”. Ukraine is one of only two remaining countries with a 100% semi-final qualification record.
