🇭🇺 Hungary: A Dal 2026 Songs Released

MTVA has revealed the 30 acts and songs competing in A Dal 2026, with a week to go until the show commences.

The 30 acts competing in A Dal 2026 have been revealed, with their competing songs also released. The 30 acts will be competing across seven weeks to receive the ability to record an album and music video to the value of 10 million forints.

The participants are:

A Dal 2026

A Dal 2026 will be broadcast between February 14 and March. The winner will receive the ability to record an album and music video to the value of 10 million forints.

In the heats, four jurors will evaluate each of the songs after they have performed, all thirty performers will progress to the semi-finals. In the semi-final, the jury and public can award between 1 and 10 points to each act. The top two with the jury and public will automatically qualify, a third finalist will be the act that receives the most votes from the remaining eight acts that did not qualify.

Four jurors will be helping to determine the winner of this year’s competition. The panel consists of:

• Captain Trap – Lead singer of the band Tha Shudras
• Bebe – Singer and is the lead singer of Melody Maker and was the former lead singer for Back II Back
• Szandi – Holds the record for the youngest platinum-selling artist in Hungary and has been performing since 1989
• György Ferenczi – singer and musician known for rock and blues music, and is a recipient of a number of Hungarian music industry awards.

A Dal was previously developed as the Hungarian national selection show for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2012. Since Hungary’s withdrawal from the Eurovision Song Contest, it has been a standalone competition.
