Rehearsals for the 23rd edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest have commenced in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Rehearsals have commenced for singers from eighteen countries across Europe who are set to compete in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025. Each of the countries taking to the stage today will have 40 minutes to rehearse on stage, ahead of second rehearsals later this week.
All rehearsals and jury shows for this year’s competition are being held behind closed doors. It is not currently known what details of the rehearsals will be released during the course of this week, last year JuniorEurovision.tv released photos of the rehearsals from within the venue.
A total of eighteen countries will compete in this year’s contest with the return of Azerbaijan, Croatia and Montenegro to the competition. Junior Eurovision 2025 will be held on December 13 at 17:00 CET in Tbilisi, after Andria Putkaradze gave Georgia their record-breaking fourth victory with “To My Mom”. The show will be broadcast on a Saturday for the second year in a row.
